Cohort-based Program: Coaching and Mentoring

A 3-month cohort-based program with one 2-hour session every week, for 12 weeks, in addition to weekly practice with your triad (group of 3 cohort members)
Practical, applicable: Put what you learn into immediate practice at work
Small cohort of peers and experienced and certified trainers and coaches
The curriculum takes you through a curated list of advanced topics which will be delivered through a mix of training, mentoring, cohort assignments, and peer support.
Weekly triad meetings on guided assignments
Capstone project (a brief experience report on one change you would apply to your context at work, based on the learnings from the cohort)

Working in tandem with you

You will be supported by your instructors who are professional agile coaches and trainers, each with years of industry experience in coaching and consulting.
You bring your career goals, organizational context and challenges; we bring our expertise and experience to help you unlock your potential and help you define your next steps while we support you along the way.
In addition, you will work in a triad with two other peers from your cohort to coach and support each other along the journey, all guided by your trainer

You can pay in full or in 3 interest-free instalments. You register in two steps:

Book your seat by signing up and paying a non-refundable deposit of 320 USD.
The balance fee due is then to be paid in full once the cohort has reached a minimum of 10 candidates (max 12). Alternatively, you can choose to pay in 3 interest-free instalments throughout the program.

Schedule:

The cohort sessions start as soon as we have at least 10 and max 12 registrations. The cohort runs for 12 weeks. The exact timing and schedule of sessions will be decided together with cohort members before cohort starts, but to give you an idea this is how it may look like:

Cohort sessions: Monday mornings/mid-day (e.g. 11am-1pm EDT)
Triad sessions: Once a week, timing to be decided by the triad

Tentative start of cohort is October 2024 (pending min 10 registrations).

Program Prerequisites:

Foundational understanding (not just knowledge) of Agile and Scrum, ideally through a first-level certification (CSM/CSPO/PSM/SSM)
Commitment to work on cohort activities as well as triad guided assignments inside and outside the sessions.

Certification Prerequisites:

Active participation in at least 22 out of 24 cohort session hours.
Completion of assignments and active participation in triad sessions
Completion of the capstone change initiative/activity at the end of the program
To be eligible for A-CSM certification from Scrum Alliance, in addition to the above:
1. Hold Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification prior to the start of program
2. Validate at least 12 months of work experience specific to the role of Scrum Master (within the past five years). This experience can be prior, during or after the masterclass program.
  
  If by the end of the program you do not still meet this experience requirement, your certification will be deferred until you can validate the 12 months of experience.

you are new to Agile and Scrum and have never worked in such an environment before
you are in a rush and do not have the time to wait for the cohort to start (see below) or go through the 12-week program

Important Note About Program Start

We register candidates first come first served and we wait until we have at least 10 registrations before we start the next cohort. This lead time is unavoidable and unpredictable. It could take up to several months. So please only sign up if you are fine with the wait time. The deposit is non-refundable.
