Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) + Agile at Scale
Scrum is an Agile framework to help teams develop adaptive solutions for complex problems. At its core, Scrum focuses on people (the human aspect of work) and products, rather than processes. Scrum Master's role is to enable an environment where teams can collaborate, learn and adapt. It's about fostering a paradigm shift, a mindset change, a new way of working.
In this interactive training, you'll learn the fundamentals of Agile, how to do product development in a complex environment, the ins and outs and intricacies of the Scrum framework, Scrum roles and responsibilities, Scrum Master core competencies, and the keys to successful Scrum implementation.
This highly interactive training provides you more than just the theory of Scrum. It gives you the confidence and prepares you for your job as a Scrum Master and sets you on your journey to transform yourself and your organisation.
Unlike most standard CSM offerings, we go well beyond basics of Scrum and offer "Agile at Scale", an 8-hour add-on advanced training covering agile and lean principles and practices for multi-team scaled environments and settings. "Agile at Scale" training contents have been curated from years of hands-on experience and learnings from success and failure stories collected from supporting tens of organisations in their transformation journeys. Empirical Process Control
We'll briefly discuss the difference between classical project management methodologies and Agile and explore the answer to a few fundamental questions: Why Agile?, Where can we apply Agile?, and What is Agile all about?. This lays the foundation for the rest of the training.
An overview of Scrum framework, its constituent elements and how teams take an outcome-centric approach to create and deliver incremental value.
Scrum Master Core Competencies
Learn the core competencies and skillsets required for a Scrum Master, not just in theory but we'll also put it into practice through an interactive exercise. We'll cover coaching, mentoring, teaching, facilitating, and consulting.
Scrum Roles & Responsibilities
In-depth coverage of roles and responsibilities of Scrum Master, Product Owner and Developers through an engaging team exercise. Learn as well how to create an effective and high performing team environment.
How Sprint functions as the heartbeat of Scrum and the rhythm for delivering value incrementally. Learn about Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Retrospective. We go well beyond theory and explore most common pitfalls and dysfunctions and how to address them.
Product & Sprint Backlogs
How to manage product backlog, attributes of product and sprint backlog, how to refine the product backlog with the team, prioritisation, how to write user stories, and estimation
Discover how as a Scrum Master you can help your team plan for and release value by building quality in every Sprint. We'll also provide practical tools and tips on release planning, managing stakeholder expectation in terms of what we can deliver when.

"Thanks for the excellent training Taghi. I loved the way you shared the notes, the way you used Miro was a revelation. Your doodling skills are superlative!
I have also incorporated a lot of learning in my job. I am seeing the benefits. Certification was one aspect to the training, but Taghi, you have helped me shift my focus from being a Manager to being a Scrum Master!!
Thank you for making me a better servant leader!"
